The Musée d'Art Moderne et d'Art Contemporain (MAMAC) is a French museum of modern art and was opened in 1990. It is on the Promenade des Arts in Nice . The building was designed by Yves Bayard .

The collection includes around 400 works from the period since the 1960s. These include works by the new realists Yves Klein , César , Arman , Niki de Saint-Phalle , the pop art artist Andy Warhol , Tom Wesselmann , the Fluxus group ( Ben Vautier ), minimal and conceptual art , the School of Nice , the group Support-Surfaces and the Nice individualists Ernest Pignon-Ernest and Ernest Gilli.
