Forest Rye
Forest Rye (born December 19, 1910 - April 24, 1988 in Clarksville , Tennessee ) was an American country singer.
Rye was based in Detroit , Michigan . In 1953 he recorded a single on Fortune Records . On the A side he was supported by Pete Pyle ( Are You Making A Fool Out Of Me ), while Rye sings the Wild Cat Boogie alone on the B side . The latter was composed by Rye and Pyle. Rye later recorded the rock and roll song My Sweet baby's Gone and left the music business.
