The Historical Museum of Luxembourg City ( French: Musée d'Histoire de la Ville de Luxembourg ; Luxembourgish : Geschichtsmusée vun der Stad Lëtzebuerg ) is a museum in Luxembourg that was opened in 1996 and has a permanent exhibition and regular temporary exhibitions .

The museum building, which was planned by the Luxembourg architect Conny Lentz , consists of up to eight floors and includes both modern parts of the building and four town and patrician houses from the 17th to 19th centuries. While the permanent exhibition is exposed on the ground floor and the first two upper floors, the temporary exhibitions are presented on the third to fifth floors.
