Museet Ribes Vikinger
The Museet Ribes Vikinger (not to be confused with the Ribe VikingeCenter ) is a historical museum in the Danish city of Ribe .
In the permanent exhibition , the museum offers a comprehensive insight into the history of Ribe from the Viking Age through the Middle Ages up to the year 1700 using numerous archaeological finds and historical objects. In addition to changing special exhibitions on the fields of history, art and culture, it also offers a wide range of museum education Program for school classes and children.
Attached to the museum is the Rådhussamlingen ( City Hall Collection ) housed in the former city hall, which presents the history of the city of Ribe from 1700 to the 20th century.
Nearby is the Hjemsted Oldtidspark in Skærbæk .
