Museo de Historia Natural
The Museo de Historia Natural ( UNMSM ) is a natural history museum in Lima , the capital of Peru . It is located on Av. Arenales 1256 .
The museum is dedicated to the ecology and geology of the country. It was founded in 1918 by the Faculty of Science of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos . The first director was Carlos Rospigliosi.

The Boletín del Museo de Historia Natural has been published since 1937, the Publicaciones del Museo Publicaciones del Museo has been published since 1948 , the Memorias del Museo has been published since 1951 and the series de Divulgación has been published since 1964 .
