Museu Etnològic Muro
The Museu Etnològic de Muro (Catalan, Museo Etnológico Spanish) is an ethnological museum and is located in the municipality of Muro on the Balearic island of Mallorca .
The extensive collection is housed in an old mansion and includes hand tools, agricultural implements, ceramics and many other items.
The Museu Etnològic is one of the must-see museums on the island. Comparable insights into the customs of the Mallorcan people can be found on Mallorca in La Granja near Esporles and at the Els Calderers estate near Vilafranca de Bonany in the municipality of Sant Joan .
There are types of hand tools and agricultural implements that provide information about the life of farmers and artisans on Mallorca.
The different rooms were equipped with traditional furniture and utensils according to their function. For example, in a kitchen you will find pots, bowls and ceramic dishes, an old oven and a dining room. In another area, blacksmith tools, a jewelry workshop and field devices are on display. The inner courtyard with a typical water edge rounds off the authentic image of the rural estate from the time before the turn of the century.
