Music Disk

Music Disk , or Musicdisk , is a term from the demo scene that describes a collection of songs that were created on a computer. They are essentially the counterpart of an album . A music disk usually consists of a program with its own user interface , which means that the listener does not need any additional software to play the songs. The term part of "Disk" is related to that music discs were once created so that they on a single floppy disk ( floppy disk to be easily exchanged between friends and on) fit Demoparties could be distributed. On modern platforms , music discs are commonly downloaded to a hard drive .
