MusicaNeo is a commercial online music platform for the publication and sale of digital sheet music and performance licenses based in Kreuzlingen , Switzerland .

The company in private ownership was founded in 2003 by Friedrich Kisters (managing director) under the name Load.CD GmbH. Back then, CDs were still the preferred storage medium. In 2012 the platform was revised and renamed “MusicaNeo”.
main features
At the end of 2012, over 500 sellers were offering more than 160,000 sheet music on MusicaNeo. Each seller receives a website on which personal and professional information, photos , articles and news can be published. The platform is geared towards the international market and is maintained in four language versions - German , English , Russian and Portuguese .
Contemporary Composers Index
The "Contemporary Composers Index CCI" (Index of Contemporary Composers) is part of the MusicaNeo project. It is a global online directory that contains over 15,000 entries by composers of all genres and styles. Each entry contains basic information about the composer, i.e. biographical details, list of works and genres of creativity.
Ernst Levy Collection
In close collaboration with the University Library of Basel and Frank Ezra Levy (a recognized composer and cellist), MusicaNeo digitized the works of Levy's father Ernst Levy , a Swiss piano prodigy and innovative composer. Ernst Levy's artistic legacy includes over 450 works. The entire collection, which consists of original scores and manuscripts , can now be viewed and downloaded digitally from the MusicaNeo catalog .
