Musikalische Reise is a musical entertainment program broadcast in the evening program by SWR since 2010. The moderator is Markus Brock . The title of the show, Musical Journey (plus travel destination) , is sometimes modified, such as With Markus Brock by ... or as a pure travel destination.

Markus Brock travels through German landscapes and cities as well as Switzerland and Austria . But also Alsace , South Tyrol and Mallorca were travel destinations. In addition to the landscape, characteristics and special features of the area are presented in discussions with locals. Music from the region but also from national and international artists can be heard in front of a scenic backdrop.

Airtime

The program is 90 minutes long and appears at irregular intervals. Seven programs were produced in 2010, twelve in 2011, five in 2012, seven in 2013, three in 2014, four in 2015, four in 2016 and two in 2017. The first broadcast takes place at 8:15 p.m. on SWR. Repetitions run in the MDR and in the RBB .
