Muslim Academy in Germany

Muslim Academy in Germany was a Muslim institution and registered association based in Berlin . It was founded on June 30, 2004 in Berlin. The Muslim Academy aims to be a “forum for inner-Muslim dialogue”, but also to be a “place where religions and cultures meet” and to complement the group of Islamic organizations in Germany .

According to the statutes, the members of the academy are “ready to perceive, reflect and represent the plurality of Islam as religion, culture and civilization”.

Anyone interested can take part in the events of the Academy (seminars, conferences, colloquia and discussions).

The institution's cooperation partner is the Federal Agency for Civic Education .

Sponsoring association

The last chairman of the sponsoring association was Hamideh Mohagheghi , her deputy was Abdul Hadi C. Hoffmann .

The sponsoring association consisted of Muslims of numerous different faiths and origins ( Turkey , Iran , Egypt , Afghanistan , Morocco , Sudan , Pakistan , Germany ).
