Mutnedjmet (Queen)

Mutnedjmet was an ancient Egyptian queen of the 21st Dynasty , around 1000 BC. Chr. She was the sister wife of King I. Psusennes (about 1040 to about 994 v. Chr.) And the daughter of Pinudjem I.

Mutnedjmet is shown in the Luxor temple behind her father Pinudjem I and next to her sisters Henuttaui and Maatkare . She is best known for her grave within the tomb of her husband Psusennes I in Tanis . A burial chamber had been laid out there for her, but it was already robbed in antiquity and was then buried in that of King Amenemope , perhaps her son. Her sarcophagus, however, remained in the chamber. The inscriptions give numerous titles of their titles. Mutnedjmet was second priestess of Amun-Re , first great king consort of his majesty , great of the house of courage , priestess of courage , priestess of Chons , king's daughter and king's sister .
