Karl Jansen-Winkeln

Karl Jansen-Winkeln (born April 3, 1955 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German Egyptologist .

Life

Jansen-Winkeln received his doctorate in 1983 from the University of Bonn . In 1990 he started working Text and Language in the 3rd Intermediate Period. Preparatory work for a late Middle Egyptian grammar at the FU Berlin habilitation , where he first as a lecturer , has taught since 2002 as an adjunct professor. He is primarily concerned with the Egyptian language , the inscriptions and ancient Egyptian history.
