Mutzer Feld is a district in the Hebborn district of Bergisch Gladbach .
history
The name of the settlement Mutzer Feld goes back to the old name Mutzenfelde , which was documented in connection with the surveying of the Hebborner Hof on April 23, 1598. The original cadastre already uses today's spelling. The entire Mutzer Feld area is one of the oldest populated areas in the region. Several arrowheads, flint blades and other implements from the Middle Stone Age have been found here which point to settlement activity in the period 8000-4000 BC. Point out. For the Neolithic (from 3000 to 1800 BC) there is an even higher density of finds. From this one can assume an extensive settlement in the period 4000–2000 BC. Close.
