Unterboschbach is a district in the Hebborn district of Bergisch Gladbach .
history
Unterboschbach emerged from a medieval settlement that was first mentioned in 1400 as Nederburstbach . It is recorded in the original cadastre as Unter Borsbach . From the original establishment of the farm, a hamlet with five arable estates and 36 inhabitants developed by 1905 . The qualifier bosch is derived from the Middle High German Busch / bosch (= Busch, Wald).
Mining
In the vicinity of Unterboschbach, the Hubertus mine field stretched on the northern edge of the Paffrath Kalkmulde . There are no longer any relics from mining.
