Mvomeka'a is a village in the province of Sud in Cameroon .
location
The place is about 20 km northeast of Sangmélima . The capital Yaoundé is about 80 km as the crow flies in the north-west. The majority of the people living there belong to the Bulu people , who are linguistically and culturally closely related to the Ewondo , Eton and Mangissa and form the common group of the Beti . Mvomeka'a is in the French-speaking part of Cameroon.
particularities
The village is the birthplace of Cameroon's incumbent President Paul Biya . Biya's first wife Jeanne-Irène Biya found her final resting place here. There is a high school in Mvomeka'a.
