Mylie Fletcher took part in the 1908 Olympic Games in London in the trap part. He finished the individual competition in seventh place with 53 points. In the team competition he finished with 405 points on the side of Walter Ewing , George Beattie , David McMackon , Arthur Westover and George Vivian behind the first and in front of the second British team in second place and thus won the silver medal. Fletcher was the fourth best shooter on the team with 65 points.
