action

The unusual story tells how Goemon, Ebisumaru, Sasuke and Yae try to stop the evil Bismaru, who stole the resurrection machine from the sage. Goemon and his friends have to travel through five worlds to fight against the Dochuki, the prince of the underworld. Come back from the dead and destroy the machine. Each world is designed with Japanese styles and themes, and Mystical Ninja 2 with Goemon continues the series' tradition with eccentric and surreal humor.

Game principle and technology

With 2.5D gameplay platforms, it marks the return of the series to a side-scrolling format.
