The panorama cars NÖVOG P1 to P4 are passenger coaches of the Lower Austrian Transport Organization Society (NÖVOG). They were built by Stadler Rail for the Mariazellerbahn from 2013 to 2014 . They operate as a supplement to the NÖVOG ET1 – ET9 series of railcars .
Use and equipment
The wagons were delivered to NÖVOG between December 2013 and April 2014. Among other things, they offer full air conditioning, foldable armrests, ample legroom and a modern passenger information system. Cars P1 to P3 have 36 seats while car P4 only has 33 seats, but is equipped with a catering compartment including a kitchen.
The panorama carriages have been running on the Mariazellerbahn on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays since June 28, 2014.
