Nærøy was a Norwegian municipality in Fylke Trøndelag with 5072 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) on an area of ​​1067 km². With effect from January 1, 2020, Nærøy was merged with Vikna to form the new municipality of Nærøysund . The seat of the administration was in Kolvereid .
