Nøstet (Norwegian for boat shed ) is an island less than 800 m long off the Mawson coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the southern part of Holme Bay it is located 3 km west-southwest of Evans Island .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them, mapped them using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
