Nuremberg filth

Nürnberger Dreck (pronounced: "Dreeg") is a card game , a variant of the game sixty-six , which is widespread especially in the Franconian region , in which four players normally take part, but which can also only be played by three players.

The Bavarian hand is used as playing cards, with 24 cards of each suit being nine, under, over, king, ten and ace (sow).

A distinction is made between four different types of game, which are played "nauf and noo", ie first in normal, then in reverse order:

  • Each for himself or "Sixty-Six" (German) :
Trump is the color that is at the bottom of the deck of cards after shuffling and cutting. The dealer automatically receives a trump.
  • Ace of Hearts or "Rot-Sau" (Russian) :
The player who has the Ace of Hearts card after the deal may determine which color is trump. The other three or two players then form a team and play together against the player who was allowed to determine the trump suit.
  • Calling (English) :
The player to whom three cards are dealt first when dealing has to call another playing card according to these three cards and then forms a team with the player who has this card after the deal. At the same time, it determines the trump suit. The two remaining players also form a team (if there are three players, the remaining player must compete alone against the calling and the called player). If the caller calls himself, he plays alone against the rest of the other players.
  • Cameroon :
Here everyone plays for themselves again. However, the aim here is to take as few stitches as possible. But you basically have to pierce if you are able to. If you can't, you have to play at least one card of the same suit. Only if this is not possible can you get rid of a card (as high as possible) of another color.
