N- sulfinylamines are organic-chemical nitrogen-sulfur compounds and are among the heterocumulene of sulfur dioxide . They are isosteres of isocyanates , but have an angled structure of the N = S = O unit. The polar N = S bond enables the sulfinylamines to be used as versatile synthetic building blocks in addition reactions and cycloadditions .
