N63A , also SNR 0535−660 , is a supernova remnant within the H-II region N63 in the large Magellanic Cloud . It is assumed to be between 2000 and 5000 years old. N63A was identified as a supernova remnant by D. S. Mathewson and J. R. Healy in 1964.
