NBER Macroeconomics Annual is a macroeconomic journal . It is the official organ of the US research organization National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and has been marketed by the University of Chicago Press since 1986 .

The journal's editors are the economists Daron Acemoğlu (MIT), Jonathan Parker (MIT) and Michael Woodford (Columbia). Previously, Ben Bernanke , Olivier Blanchard , Mark Gertler , Kenneth S. Rogoff and Julio Rotemberg were entrusted with the organization of the magazine. The Chairman of the Editorial Board is John S. Clarkeson .

In a 2008 ranking by the Verein für Socialpolitik , it achieved an A rating.
