NB Power ( French Énergie NB ) is the state-owned energy supply company in the Canadian province of New Brunswick , based in Fredericton . In fiscal 2011/2012, the company had sales of approximately 1.64 billion Canadian dollars and employed more than 2,300 people.

The cornerstone for founding the company was the New Brunswick Electric Power Act on April 24, 1920, on the basis of which the New Brunswick Electric Power Commission was established.

NB Power consists of a holding company and four operating companies:

    • NB Power Distribution and Customer Service (Disco)
    • NB Power Generation (Genco)
    • NB Power Nuclear (Nuclearco)
