Lüdenbach is a place in the municipality of Engelskirchen in the Oberbergisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany .
Location and description
The town is located southwest of Engelskirchen in the valley of woods Siefens , in the Agger flows .
Neighboring towns are Loope , Perdt and Staadt .
history
In 1413 the place was first mentioned in a combing invoice for the Fronhof Lindlar. In this document the place is referred to as "Ludenbech" . In the map of the Topographical Survey of the Rhineland from 1825, the place is shown in a delimited courtyard with two building floor plans and named "Lüdenbach" . In 1896 the topographic maps show a mine with a machine house to the northwest of the village. In 1933 the tunnels of this mine are marked as closed.
