The place is in the southwest of Engelskirchen in the valley of the Agger . Neighboring towns are Loope , Dumpe , Lüdenbach and Staadt .

history

In 1413 the combing register for Fronhof Lindlar names the place with the place name "Peedd" . In the map of the Topographical Survey of the Rhineland from 1825, the place with several delimited courtyards is labeled "Perd" . The Prussian first recording from 1845 shows the place with the names "Alt Perdt" and "Perdt" . From the topographic map of 1896, the place name Alt Perdt is no longer used.
