Fenway Sports Group

The Fenway Sports Group (FSG; founded in 2001 to March 2011: New England Sports Ventures , NESV) is a Boston -based US company active in the sports marketing industry . He owns the American professional baseball club Boston Red Sox and, since October 2010, the British professional football club Liverpool FC , as well as Fenway Park (the home stadium of the Boston Red Sox) and Anfield (the home stadium of Liverpool FC), and 80% of the Sports television broadcaster New England Sports Network (NESN) and 50% of the NASCAR motorsport team Roush Fenway Racing . The subsidiary Fenway Sports Management (former name: Fenway Sports Group) owns the baseball club Salem Red Sox .

Founder and owner of the Fenway Sports Group is a consortium led by the stock exchange trader John W. Henry , to which the television producer Tom Werner , the sports facility entrepreneur Les Otten , the media company The New York Times Company (The New York Times, The Boston Globe etc.) and other donors belong.
