The NMC SA was founded in 1950 as a Belgian trading company by entrepreneur Gert Noël and his wife, under the name of Noël-Marquet & Cie based in Eupen.

history

The company's first location was on the market square in the center of Eupen. In 1959, the company moved to a large area on Hochstrasse, which could be expanded through several land purchases. At the end of 1982 the opportunity arose to acquire the vacant buildings of the Jacques Chocolaterie in Eynatten near Aachen , where the company headquarters were relocated after the construction of numerous particularly fire-proof production buildings and an administration building.

description

NMC is now an international company in the development, production and marketing of synthetic foams . The company employs around 1,500 people at 16 locations across Europe. In 2019 the company achieved group-wide sales of EUR 285 million. The areas of application extend from the areas of room, facade and terrace design to insulation, industrial and packaging products to sports and leisure items.
