NRW Graduate School
The NRW Graduate School program was launched in 2001. It supports universities in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in a targeted manner in order to offer top international research. International graduate schools have been set up for this purpose.

Prices
From 2004 to 2007 the NRW Graduate Schools presented the NRW Undergraduate Science Awards three times . These prizes were awarded to promote student research before graduation and were endowed with 1,500 euros.
Research School (NRW)
The "NRW Graduate School" program has been supplemented by the introduction of the "Research Schools (NRW)" since the 2008/2009 winter semester.
