NZZ Libro

NZZ Libro is the book publisher of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) from Zurich . The publishing director is Urs Hofmann. Books have been published by the NZZ since 1927; since 1980 the publishing house has been run as a separate profit center in the Neue Zürcher Zeitung publishing house. The publishing house has been operating under the name NZZ Libro since 2006. Since mid-2018, the NZZ Libro publishing house has been an imprint of the Basel printing and publishing house Schwabe AG under license .

The publishing program of specialist and non-fiction literature includes, among other things, political , cultural , contemporary and economic books as well as biographies and illustrated books , mainly with a reference to Switzerland . More than 60 titles are published each year.
