Naborio

The Naborio was the conscripted indigena in the encomienda system in Latin America .

The Naborios were created as a class under the rule of the Spanish Crown , in the New World by the Leyes de Burgos .

The naborio was not, like the slave, the property of the encomendero , only its property .
