Nachal Brigade

This article describes the Israeli infantry brigade. “Nachal” is also the Hebrew word for Bach or Wadi and the Nachal organization of the same name .

The Nachal Brigade is an infantry brigade of the Israeli army .

The brigade was set up in 1982 as a result of the increased need of the Israeli infantry due to the conflict that arose in southern Lebanon . In it there are the infantry subunits 931 and 932 as well as a special unit: the regiment 50. Today there are non-combat units in the Nachal that are active in education or z. B. the Nachal music band , which became famous in Israel . The members can be recognized by their green berets .
