Naked sparrow

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Naked sparrow or simply sparrow and feathered sparrow are simple dice games with a single dice and a dice cup for any number of players. Naked Sparrow is also regularly included in the relevant rulebooks in game collections .

Style of play

Naked Sparrow is played with a single dice and dice cup.

The game is played in turn, each player rolls the dice for his left neighbor and hands him the roll, hidden through the cup. The neighbor lifts the dice cup and gets the diced eyes written on. If a one, a “naked sparrow”, was thrown, the thrower receives one point and the neighbor receives no points. The winner is the player who has the fewest points after a set number of rounds, usually five or six; he is honored as a "naked sparrow".

Alternatively, with the naked sparrow , the rule can also apply that if there is a one the uncoverer has lost and is eliminated - other throws do not count. If there are two players, the loser receives a match from his teammate; the winner is the one who runs out of matches first. If there are several players, the loser receives the match from a central “wooden yard” or from his right-hand teammate. When Feathery sparrow the same rules apply, but in this case, five of the "Sparrow" and the dicer is lost.
