The Naeba Ski Resort ( Japanese 苗 場 ス キ ー 場 , Naeba Sukī-jō ) is a winter sports area in Japan . It is located on the territory of the municipality Yuzawa in Niigata Prefecture and the tourism enterprises Prince Hotels operates.

On the eastern slope of Takenoko there are 22 ski slopes with an area of ​​196 ha, a maximum length of four kilometers and a maximum incline of 32 °. The difference in altitude between the summit at 1789 m and the lowest point at 900 m is 889 m. Of the ski slopes, 30% are classified as easy or difficult and 40% as medium.

Several races of the Alpine Ski World Cup , the Freestyle Skiing World Cup and the Snowboard World Cup have already been held in Naeba . The Fuji Rock Festival also takes place here every summer .
