Lists on the subject

The Naga two-handed sword is an Indian sword of the Naga from the province of Assam .

description

The Naga two-handed sword has a single-edged steel blade . The blade runs almost the same width from the handle to the place . After about a third of the blade a kind of hook is forged on the back of the blade. The handle and the blade are made from one piece. The parry is, in comparison to European two-handed swords , small and made of steel. The handle is also made of steel and not clad with any other material. A steel pin, which serves as a kind of second, rear cross-guard, is attached just before the end of the booklet. The pommel is made of steel and has the shape of an acorn . This sword is used by ethnic groups in India.
