Paulo Roberto Corradi Nagamura (born March 2, 1983 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian soccer player with Japanese roots. He currently plays for Sporting Kansas City in the American football professional league Major League Soccer .

Career

youth

In 2001 the then 18-year-old moved from his youth club São Paulo to England to Arsenal London . There he plays in the club's youth and reserve team and helped the Londoners to win the 2004 U19 championship with his final goal against Liverpool FC .

Change to America

In March 2004, he then moved to the American Major League Soccer at Los Angeles Galaxy . There he played 54 times, but did not score a goal. In early 2007 he was with the newly formed club Toronto FC under contract. After four games for the Canadian club, he moved back to Los Angeles on May 4, 2007, but this time to the CD Chivas USA .

After six months in Mexico with UANL Tigres , he returned to CD Chivas USA in 2010. On November 29, 2011, the Chivas traded it for a pick in the 2012 MLS Supplemental Draft. Since then he has played for Sporting Kansas City.
