Nagatsuka Takashi
Nagatsuka Takashi ( Japanese 長 塚 節 , born April 3, 1879 in Kosshō , Okada County (today: Jōsō ), Ibaraki Prefecture ; † February 8, 1915 ) was a Japanese writer.
At the age of nineteen, Nagatsuka was enthusiastic about Masaoka Shiki's natural poetry . He belonged to its Negishi Tanka community and was involved in founding their magazine Araragi . He was best known as a poet. In 1914 his volume of poetry Hari no gotoku was published . He also wrote novels. The most famous of these , Tsuchi , appeared in sequels in the Asahi Shimbun newspaper . In 1915 he died of tuberculosis at the age of thirty-five.
