List of rose varieties |
The climbing rose ' Naheglut' , also 'Jazz' or 'That's Jazz', was introduced in 1997 by the Danish breeder Poulsen . It is a rare variety of rose .
Description and care
The growth of 'Naheglut' is upright and well branched. If kept well, the climbing rose can grow to a height of 2 to 3 meters or higher, but it is more suitable for smaller gardens. It is considered a strong growing, very frost-hardy and rain-tolerant plant, as the flowers do not stick together when it rains. The climbing rose's foliage leaves are healthy, dark green, and shiny. With 'Naheglut' both the bud and the leaves are large.
'Naheglut' blooms from June to October or until the first frost . It is an abundant and frequently blooming climbing rose whose large flowers , which are similar to hybrid tea roses , have a good, long-lasting fragrance. The flowers are approximately 9 cm in size, sufficiently filled and oval shaped. 'Naheglut' always turns out in the flower color velvety dark red.
Especially the faded parts of the rose have to be cut, as with all climbing roses that bloom more often.
