history

The Nahverkehrs-Nachrichten appeared from 1956 as an independent news service with reports and information on public transport from Alf Teloeken in Düsseldorf (Alba-Verlag). The editors received their information from a paid newspaper service - articles selected according to keywords and cut out from printed newspapers all over the country. During the first few years, the texts of the newsletter were published in typewriter in DIN A4 format, it was not until 1982 that all the texts in the magazine were set (in several columns) and printed using offset printing . Gradually, the proportion of images increased from now on, in 2004 the NaNa became colored.

It was published weekly at the beginning, eight times a month in the early 1960s (4 pages), weekly in the early 1980s (8 pages), later 3 times a month (1st, 10th and 20th calendar day), and again weekly since May 2015 .

The local traffic news has been published by DVV Media in Hamburg since 2015 .
