Nakayama Yoshiko
Nakayama Yoshiko ( Japanese 中山 慶 子 ; born January 16, 1836 in Kyoto , † October 5, 1907 in Minami-chō, Aoyama ) was a Japanese lady-in-waiting .
She was the daughter of Nakayama Tadayasu , who was a minister on the left and a member of the Fujiwara family. She was a concubine of Emperor Kōmei and mother of Emperor Meiji . She was buried in the Toshimagaoka Cemetery in Bunkyō , Tokyo .
