Naked Pumpkin Run
The Naked Pumpkin Run is an annual to Halloween taking place nude running in cities across the United States .

In 1974, a major nude run was held in Boulder, Colorado , in which several hundred students from the University of Colorado at Boulder tried to get an entry in the Guinness Book of Records . This is seen as the forerunner and historical reference of the Naked Pumpkin Run . The first Naked Pumpkin Run was held in Boulder in 1998, when several dozen students were running naked through the streets, all wearing a hollowed-out pumpkin on their heads and shoes.
In addition to Boulder, the west coast cities of Seattle , Washington , Portland , Oregon and Arcata , California were later added as venues .
The ten-year anniversary was celebrated in 2008, with around 150 participants coming together in Boulder alone, in 2009 there were conflicts with the police and threats of immorality.
