The Namibia Hockey Union (NHU) is the umbrella organization for hockey in Namibia and was founded in 2001 in Windhoek . As a member of the African Hockey Federation, the association is an indirect member of the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

In April 2014, the association organized the indoor hockey African championship in Windhoek . Namibia came second in the women and men.
