Namtillaku

Namtillaku is a Sumerian deity.

Namtillaku is an underworld deity, the "secret and powerful lord". He has the power to raise the dead and can speak to the spirits of Abyssus . Nobody goes to death without knowing it.

In later Babylonian times the name and function of Namtillaku was assimilated by Marduk . From then on it was one of the fifty names of the Marduk.
