Nana Lee

Nana Lee (born January 29, 1985 in Jakarta ) is an Indonesian singer , songwriter , saxophonist and actress . She is best known in Indonesia for her participation in the casting shows Indonesia's Got Talent and Super Idol .

Career

Nana Lee was born in Jakarta to an Indonesian father and a Chinese mother. During her studies, she played in several theater productions and TV shows. Since 2003, she has finally concentrated on her music career. Their music is heavily influenced by jazz , pop and R&B . Lee regularly plays in jazz clubs, festivals and on national TV in Indonesia and Taiwan . She became known for her participation in the casting shows Indonesia's Got Talent and Super Idol .

In 2009 her debut album Be + Positive was released . A year later she released the album Women in Love in collaboration with the renowned arranger in Indonesia, Idang Rasjidi . In 2011, Lee achieved her greatest commercial success with her third album, Tribute to Koes Plus-Bossa Nova . Lee is currently working on a new album that will likely be released in 2014.

Nana Lee made her European debut in January 2014, making an appearance at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland.
