The Große Weg , along with the Bremer Weg, is one of the two central hiking trails in the southern half of the Großer Tiergarten in Berlin . It begins at the entrance to the zoo near the Berlin-Tiergarten train station and leads across the park to Luiseninsel .

The Große Weg crosses numerous avenues in the park, such as the Fasanerieallee , the Große Sternallee and the Ahornsteig .
