Nancy Atherton

Nancy Atherton (* 1955 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American writer who lives with her family in Colorado Springs .

Aunt Dimity

Almost all of the novels in the Aunt Dimity series are set in England.

Lori Shepherd is the sole heiress of an old lady who until then she only knew as "Aunt Dimity" from her mother's stories. Therefore, after the death of her mother from the United States, Lori moves to Dimity's house in the idyllic village of Finch in England. However, although Dimity has actually died, she keeps in touch with Lori through a blue diary. In this way, she supports Lori, who repeatedly interferes in criminal cases and is often in danger herself. Another companion Loris is her pink plush bunny Reginald, which she got from Aunt Dimity as a toddler and which also has a life of its own.
