Dame Nancy Broadfield Parkinson , DCMG (born January 23, 1904 , † December 10, 1974 ) was a British cultural functionary.

She entered the service of the British Council in 1939 at the request of the then chairman, Lord Lloyd of Dolobran . She built up the newly created Resident Foreigners Division , which was responsible for the cultural care of the refugees and the Allied troops. This resulted in a nationwide network of regional offices. After the war the division was renamed the Home Division and the focus of work shifted to overseas students in the UK.

In 1965, Parkinson became the first woman lady to become Commander of the Order of St. Michael and St. George . She retired in 1968.
