  • BX : The building is a peat wall house that was inaugurated on June 21, 1989. It was built by older students along with their social studies teacher. A trainee lawyer and residents of the nursing home took part in the planning. In addition, the museum director contributed to the completion. The entire construction of the peat wall house was carried out voluntarily from decaying materials and only a few new materials such as roofing felt and nails were used. The establishment of the peat wall house is based on the interests of the population and was entirely donated by them.

With the exception of the peat wall house, all of the museum's buildings are protected. For a detailed description of the history and architecture of the individual buildings, see the list of architectural monuments in Nanortalik .
