Napoleon Murphy Brock (born June 7, 1945 ) is an American singer, saxophonist and flautist who became famous in the 1970s through his collaboration with Frank Zappa .

In 2003 he released the album Balls and toured with the Zappa cover group Project Object . In 2006 he toured Europe with Frank Zappa's son Dweezil and the Zappa plays Zappa project . In the 51st Grammy Awards on February 8, 2009, he was recognized for his interpretation of Zappa composition Peaches en Regalia , together with the Zappa plays Zappa project in the category " Best Performance by a rock instrumentals " with a Grammy Award. In 2009 he performed with the Zappa cover band Sheik Yerbouti at the Zappanale in Bad Doberan . In 2015 he toured Germany with the German Zappa cover band Grandsheiks .
